Fun Times!!

At my parents house, they have great sledding hill in there back yard. The kids LOVE running up and sledding down the hill for hours. We had a small snow storm so, we had to take advantage of it before it melted.

Crazy dress up clothes. Jos, got all these clothes from a white elephant party. She was soooooooo excited to have new dress up clothes.

Christmas Eve!!

I love Christmas Eve..the excitement in the air, the new PJ's and cuddling on the couch watching Polar Express.
At Boomer's parents house they always had a tradition growing up of having a big Fondue dinner. So, we always look forward to a great dinner with family.
It was so YUMMY!!!

Fun times with family. It was SOOOO exciting to finally meet our sweet nephew/cousin Gabe. He is the sweetest little guy. I had to fight with the kids who was going to feed him. It was a group effort. So, fun!!! We had all the families in for Christmas, it was fun to play and catch up with everyone.

loved eating the tentacles ;o)

New PJ's.....this is my favorite. I love getting new PJ's.

We slept over at Boomer's parent's house waiting for Santa. The kids all slept on the floor downstairs all in a row. The night was so fun, up until I had a sweet little voice at my side at 2 in the morning telling me Jos just throw up everywhere. UGH!!! It was all over the bedding pillows and her sister. So, after the middle of the night showers and the cleaning up, throwing everything outside to deal with in the morning. She was feeling better in the morning, thank goodness.

Sledding Fun!!!

We had a fun afternoon sledding with Boomer's family. It was a perfect day!! The kids had so much fun. After we got done sledding a HuGe SnOwBaLl fight broke out, Luke and Jos even got in on it...I think Mo got the worst of it, she was ganged up on by her Grandpa and Uncle Tyson. ;o)
It was a very fun day with family.

As soon as I got Jos's snow clothes on, she went right over and fell backwards into the snow, with the biggest smile one...she LOVES the snow!!

Our Cute Little Penguin

Rylee has been working so hard for this night!! She was in a play with her 1st grade class. She did amazing. She had multiple parts and did perfect on all of them. We were so proud. She had to memorize a page long poem, she had it down perfect. It was a fun night. She was cheered on loudly and excitedly from her two younger siblings, it was really funny. Luke had a hard time staying away from her, he tried to run the stage, but I caught right before he got on it...he was ticked, he just wanted his Rylee. Here are some cute shots of her performance. We are so proud of you, Rylee!!

Our Sweet Little Guy is TWO!!!

We had a fun few days celebrating LuKe'S 2Nd BiRtHDaY . It was a really fun birthday. He is at the perfect age and was so excited about all of his "BOY" toys. This poor house has so much PINK in it, it was fun to buy trucks, trains and basketball hoops!! I don't know if Luke or Boomer were more excited about all the fun new "BOY" toys!!

Luke had A LOT of help from his sister's opening presents!! We were traveling to Utah for Luke's birthday, so we celebrated it on the Saturday
before his actual birthday!!

We were still traveling on Luke's birthday driving to Utah, so that night we had a quick celebration with cake and ice cream for his birthday.

Thanks to everyone that sent cards, money and
many, many birthday wishes. It was a very fun day.

Decorating For Christmas

We had a fun evening decorating for Christmas. We have realized we need a new tree, it seems to get smaller every year. It fit perfectly in our little beach apartments. But, it looks very little in our new house. Luke was at the fun age to decorate. He was saying, "LOOK, LOOK" at everything. He loved going through all the Christmas books and toys. It was Luke's turn to put the star on the tree, he loved that. It was a fun evening.

Good Times, Great Friends

Boomer came to me on Tuesday before Thanksgiving at 9:30 AT NIGHT, and said, "Hey, let's go to Louisiana for Thanksgiving." This is what happens when he drives in a car to long by himself..he gets thinking ;o) I of course gave him "THE LOOK" with the following words ,"SERIOUSLY, have you looked at the unpacked, unorganized house. Louisiana is 1100 miles...ONE WAY."  I just got from driving with the kids from Utah for 12 hours, I was sooooooo not wanting to do that so soon. Boomer of course realized, I was right and we went to bed.
The following morning around 9:30, he called his friend Robbie to tell him we weren't coming for obvious reasons. I went upstairs to start unpacking, when I hear Boomer say on the phone, "OKAY, let me go talk to her"....They were plotting (just kidding, Robbie). Boomer came up and looked at me with his EYES, and said it would be fun, what do you think. SERIOUSLY. I finally told him make the decision, so we can pack and get on the road or get cleaning. The good salesman in him, had a very convincing argument...so we went. We drove till 2:30 in the morning and then finished the last 3 hours Thanksgiving day.
Putting aside the crazy drive with kids. It was the best Thanksgiving. It was so fun to spend time with Robbie and his darling daughter Remi. We met and ate with his Dad and Mom, they are such incredible people. So, sweet and made us feel right at home. They live on 2 acres, so the kids were able to run and have fun. Morgan and Rylee both had fun driving the golf cart. Morgan learned to drive a Rhino type thing, she only crashed it once. Boomer and Robbie smacked balls in to the field next door, making up different ways to hit the ball....Happy Gilmore style was the funniest. Or who can hit the ball the closest to that mark. Typically boy games. After they took off with the kids to find all the golf balls.
Robbie's Dad loves to decorate for Christmas so, he had a bunch of those blow up Christmas decor...with light and Christmas music playing. At night when they all blew up and the lights came on the kids LOVED walking around the yard looking at the all. Such a fun evening.
The day, was very relaxing and ate some great Southern cooking. It was incredible.
We went back to Robbie's that evening and just hung out while the kids played. The next day, Morgan and I went to Baton Rouge and went shopping. It was a great day spending time with her. We had a fun time and found great deals.
That evening we went to The Pro Bass Shop, OH MY GOODNESS, that store is amazing. The kids loved it. So, much to see. They had live fish, a raccoon and snakes. Pretty amazing. We got pictures with Santa. My kids DO NOT Santa...but, I can tell you with Grandma Clause sitting right by him, he doesn't seem so scary, the kids loved him, she is the ticket. The picture turned out great.
The drive home was about the same craziness, but we made it and had a great time. Thank you, Robbie and Dad and Mom Vallot, it was amazing.
Things we loved on the drive. The coolest thing we saw was the all the cotton fields, they were a ton. They had just picked the cotton so there were bails and bails of cotton, most the drive. It was fun to see all the cotton on the streets.  And on the was back we went through Ft. Sumner which is famous for the Billy The Kid. We saw where he was buried, but didn't have time to go see the grave. It was an amazing town, with some old saloon's and buildings. Great memories.

Here are pictures of the kids playing. On the property Robbie's parents live on, there is an old bunker. That was really cool to see.

Golfing and trying to find all the golf balls.

Robbie has a dog, that he is still training so, she was in the kennel. I would find Luke many times sitting out the kennel playing with her. It was so cute.

At The Pro Bass Shop...you can shoot, drive nascar's....EVERYTHING!!

Merry Christmas!!!!
