US!!!

Here are some fun random pictures of US!!!!

Luke took this picture.....

I don't think I have introduced our new little girl...this is Luna. We adopted her the first part of December. She is an amazing dog...it has definitely took some adjustment on my part...but, the kids adore her.....she is constantly being loved on. She is slowly getting use to us also..she obviously has had some male issues in the past and is very hesitant around Boomer, but they are slowly becoming friends. And, I am getting use to someone under my feet ALL DAY!!! I guess, I am her buddy!!!

This is what the last storm just left us...from 6 inches on Sunday and now another 10 inches..with another storm going to hit in a few hours...we are in WINTER WONDERLAND!!!! It is crazy!!! All, I have to say..is "THANK YOU, DAD for always plowing our walk, our driveway and salting it to get us out"...the behind the scenes of what he did while we sleep in our warm beds...winters are CRAZY!!!!

Boomer heading out to go skiing....NEW POWDER...YAY!!!!

Grandma and Luke Day

Vickie was just as EXCITED or more to get Luke on the slopes with her. We meet up at her house and tried everything ....Luke was giggling the whole time, he was REALLY excited to ride the chairs that took you up and up and up. This was his first time skiing, last time we were here, he was a little guy crawling around in the snow....They had such a fun day, Luke wore Grandma out, far before she wore him out!!!! Here are some fun pictures of their day.....

Getting Ready to leave

Locker Room

Two funny things to remember.....
*That night Luke was saying his prayers with Rylee and I,  he said, "Thank for you for letting me go skiing with Grandma...Oh, and Mom, we went on these chairs and they took us up and up and up and then we skied down the hill and....." then I said that is awesome buddy, should we finish the prayer...he giggled and went back to praying. He was still so excited about his special day.
*The next morning after Luke woke up he walked in the kitchen holding his legs..."Mom, my legs are hurting.." Boomer and I both laughed and Boomer sat him down and explained why his legs were sore from Skiing.......then his morning consisted of..running to go to the bathroom..."I got to pee..ouch, ouch, ouch"...as he was holding his sore legs running to the bathroom....

THANK YOU , GRANDMA for a FUN , FUN, PRICELESS day!!!!!

Morgan: SUPER STUDENT

Morgan was giving the "SUPER STUDENT" award in her health class.  I had to share because her teacher wrote Boomer and I the sweetest note, I wanted to document......she got a certificate, a picture of herself the teacher took and a sweet note!!!

From her Teacher Mrs. Foote:

"Morgan was chose to be the student of the month for December in Health class!!!! She is a great student and very mature for her age! Not only is she a wonderful student academically, but she also is kind to those around her. I know I can always count on Morgan to be respectful and stay on task. She does great at everything she tries. Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful daughter!"
                  Sincerely,
                                Mrs Foote

We are so proud of you Morgan, you are truly an amazing daughter, friend and example to all you meet!!!! LOVE YOU, SWEETIE!!!!
