Rylee and Bekah!!

Rylee had a sweet friend Bekah..they were TWINS!! They both have the same SPUNKY personality!! It was so fun!! The last month we were in Albuquerque, they were fitting in all the play dates and sleep overs they could before we moved. They took turns sleeping at each others house. I loved when Bekah came over she had a book "The Super Sleepover". It was the cutest book, even had a check list that had to happen to make the evening PERFECT!!!

The Teeth Are Going...

We are in another stage of Teeth falling out....Rylee has lost her FIRST, front tooth and her next tooth is VERY, VERY close to come out.
The tooth fairy was reminded ALL DAY to put money under her pillow. BUT, the SWEET Tooth fairy can get busy, as all TOOTH FAIRIES are and spaced off her duty of slipping money under her pillow. The next morning, I was woken up, with a sad little girl with no money under her pillow. I was able to think quick on my feet, went and grabbed a dollar out of my purse and walked into the room to help SEARCH for the dollar...as, I pushed back the pillow and secretly dropped the dollar off her bed. I then told her to look off her bed, that the money had fallen on the floor while she slept. OH, the excitement, problem adverted.  THE TOOTH FAIRY MOM RULES ONCE AGAIN!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Rylee!!

Rylee just turned 7 years old. We had a fun morning opening presents, then in the afternoon we went and saw the "SMURF" movie. After the movie, she got to decide where she wanted to eat for dinner, she choose McDonald's, seriously. We tried to convince her to go somewhere more exciting for her birthday dinner, but the smurf toys in the happy meal were too exciting.

She got a package from Grandpa and Grandma Medsker,
she was so excited. It came a few days before her birthday, so she was excited to open something early!!

It was a Justin Bieber birthday. She got a CD and shirt. She wanted a shirt of Justin Bieber, but I couldn't find one anywhere, we were a late on the Bieber fever stage. So, I had 4 bidding wars on Ebay and finally won one. The night before her birthday, she came downstairs and told me, "Oh, Mom just so you know, I don't like Justin Bieber anymore"...UGH!! But, luckily by morning, she was in love with him again.

Thanks to all the other (Grandma's and Grandpa's) for the cards and money to go shopping. She had a blast spoiling herself.

An All American Girl

This year on school Rylee has a teacher that goes above and beyond teaching her class. She is incredible. Every other month she has the kids put on a play. But, the parts, she gives the kids blow me away. How much they memorize, its amazing. In this particular play there a boy that recited by heart "The Declaration of Independence"...first grade. It was so impressive. This year Rylee sang by herself with the class as background singers "I Am Proud To Be An American". She did a PERFECT job. She practiced so much that we all had the song memorized and sang IT ALL DAY LONG. Even dreamed about it and woke up singing it.
Here is a video Morgan took of Rylee singing. We have now learned you don't turn the camera sideways while videoing. So, turn your head sideways and enjoy.

Rylee was cracking us up, the song they were singing ended, so the kids were just waiting for the music to be over. So, Rylee started doing this little jig, we were laughing so hard. All the kids were standing there still and Rylee was dancing. Funny girl!!! Watch her beautiful jig below:

Our Cute Little Penguin

Rylee has been working so hard for this night!! She was in a play with her 1st grade class. She did amazing. She had multiple parts and did perfect on all of them. We were so proud. She had to memorize a page long poem, she had it down perfect. It was a fun night. She was cheered on loudly and excitedly from her two younger siblings, it was really funny. Luke had a hard time staying away from her, he tried to run the stage, but I caught right before he got on it...he was ticked, he just wanted his Rylee. Here are some cute shots of her performance. We are so proud of you, Rylee!!

Happy Birthday To Rylee

I am a month late in posting Rylee birthday events, but here they are....we had such a fun few days. Her birthday was on Sunday so, we had a fun relaxing day, with cake and ice cream at night. Then a few days later we had a swim party. She had a fun time....
Things Rylee is excited about being 6......she wiggles her front teeth everyday waiting for them to become loose, and then she gets to go all day to school (OH, wait that was what I was excited about) ;o) She is such a fun, full of life little girl. She has energy for the whole family. We love ya, Ry!!!!

Britt made the most amazing cake once again for her..Ry wanted a kitty cat,
it turned out amazing and tasted DELICIOUS!!!!
Thanks again, Britt!! Love ya!!
