ICE CREAM WAS NEEDED!!!!

The kids, well, minus Morgan went to get some ice cream. It was one of those kinda days...ICE CREAM WAS NEEDED!!!! We took our time and licked the bowls clean. We got silly with the camera.....:0)

MESSY, WATER FUN!!

It's moment like these, do you stop the fun because you know what a mess they are going to be in their clothes OR do you just let them play and take lots of PICTURES!! Of course, I took lots of pictures. Joslyn and Luke played in the mud and water for hours. They had so much fun splashing and giggling with each other. These are priceless memories, I will cherish of my kids being kids.

Petroglyph National Monument

I took the kids out to the Petroglyphs. We went and hiked on volcano's and looked at all the petroglyphs. It was pretty amazing seeing all the early American Indians and Spanish explorers drawings. It was pretty hot that day, around 98-100 degrees. The kids were troopers and we got through the hike.

The volcano's erupted around 200,000 years ago.

Luke cracked me up, he jumped down each stair, there were a lot.

There was a sign at the trail head warnings us about Rattle snakes. Luke stayed right by the sign for a long time looking for snakes. He figured they would be by the sign.

Crafting Fun!

When we were in Utah we went and shopped at a new wood store in town. It was so fun. I let the girls each pick out a project to paint. When we got back home we had a craft day and painted. They turned out really cute.

Driving Home from Utah!!

We were heading home from Utah, as we were going into Moab, there is a huge sandy hill. The kids were ready for a break out of the car, so I pulled over and told them to hike. They looked at me like I was kidding. HEHEHE. They got out and headed up the hill, they did pretty good and their energy was zapped!! YEA!!

The End of The Summer, Zoo Trip!!!

I know, I know more pictures from the zoo. But, can you really get to many cute pictures of animals and the smile on my kids faces :o)

SCHOOL STARTED!!!

Our school actually started a week ago, so I figured I better get there first day of school picture up....

Rylee is going into 2nd grade..she is sporting her Justin Bieber shirt and LOTS of duct tape bracelets, because (in her words), is the HOTTEST BOY ALIVE......

Morgan is going into 7th grade, she was very excited. Morgan and our neighbor get to ride there bikes to school. I LOVE THAT!!!

Jos actually doesn't start preschool for another few weeks, 

but she got up and got ready.

Carnival

The kids and I took off to go to a Rattlesnake museum they have wanted to see, it was down in Old Town. When we got there, there was a carnival set up. So, we ended up riding rides and dancing to the music. It turned out to be a really fun day, relaxing in the shade of the tree's eating snow cones.

Jos and Luke were to little to ride the Ferris Wheel, so they choose to play a game...this is what they won.

I was taking pictures of the kids and this sweet guy came over and offered to take pictures with me with them. I had to laugh when I downloaded the pictures, he totally cut Luke off in the first one and the second one you can see his eyes. So funny!! It was a nice gesture anyway.

There were a bunch of people dressed up in western style. 

They looked amazing!!

This was my favorite. The whole afternoon there were a bunch of couples dancing around the pavilion, it was so fun to watch!!!

The New Generation

A glimpse of some of our morning....so funny!!!!

LOVE

Our neighbors just got 2 mini pinschers. My kids were in heaven. We got to bring them over and play with them last night. The puppies loved Luke's ears, they were nibbling all night. It was so cute, he just giggled!!!

Playing Dress Up

I did a photo shoot with my kids, they got all dressed up in WHATEVER they wanted!! It was a fun evening of laughing, rolling eyes and fun!!! The rolling eyes part was at me, for trying to be goofy and making them SMILE!!!!
