Making Breakfast Fun!!
I saw this idea in a magazine, fun ways to make pancakes...so I we had to try it.
I bought the container at Walmart for 97 cents.
I cut the top to make the hole a little bigger...
Then fill with pancake mix....my favorite is Swedish Pancakes, they are thinner then most....
Then start creating...

I couldn't leave my husband out...fun for everyone!!!

Easter
Easter was such a fun day relaxing and being with family.
I have to first show you pictures of what it looked like a few days before Easter......HELLO, IT IS APRIL!!!
Easter baskets all set up for the kids...what a good Easter bunny!!! The kids usually get there swimsuit for the summer on Easter and then if course other fun random things. And of course pictures of Christ to remember why we celebrate Easter!!
Here are the kids on Easter morning....I have no idea where Morgan was when I was snapping pictures, I promise she was there ;o)
Easter egg hunting at Grandpa and Grandma's Medsker's with their cousins.......thank goodness the snow had melted the day before.

Random Easter pictures with cousins. I feel like I need to explain 2 pictures..one of Luke and his sippy cup, this one was more to document him. For some reason he WILL NOT hold his on sippy cup, he can do it, but chooses not too,. SO, the picture of him having his sweet Aunt hold his cup for him to get a drink, funny kid!! The other is my sleeping brother...his mouth was a little open so of course his oldest decided to stick a cookie in his mouth. Fun times!!!
,
My sister, Britt made the cutest insect cupcakes, they turned out amazing. In her cupcakes she made Joslyn a HOLY MOLEY cupcake, if you missed the HOLY MOLEY obsession click HERE. Joslyn was ecstatic about her HOLY MOLEY cupcake, she couldn't wait to eat them. Now I hope she just realizes you only eat the HOLY MOLEY's that are on the cupcakes. Thank you, Britt!!!

Our 5K On A Beautiful Spring Day
The kids and I walked a 5K a couple of Saturday's ago, it was to raise money for their school. Boomer ended up having to work, so it was up to me the kids to get through it. By the time it started I think we were up to 34 degrees , not very fun for little ones sitting in strollers. BUT, we made it through it with not to much whining (WHATEVER), and we did it under an hour...I know, we had many stops and had many reassuring moments that their legs and fingers were not going to freeze and fall off. It was fun and I can't wait to do another with them all....2 down and many more to go!!! Good job GIRLS!!!
Can you see the snow behind us in the picture....SPRING..WHATEVER!!! ;o)

More Birthday Stories
I forgot to document the obsession Joslyn had with her birthday. About month before her birthday, I kept asking her what she wanted for her birthday. I figured she would be a typical almost three years old and say something new every time asked her. BUT, no not my child she had three requirements for her birthday and she said those three things every time I asked here..so I knew I had to find them. Her first request was a Pet shop (easy), the second request was a purple bunny (it was close to Easter not to hard, I thought) the last request was a SKUNK....yes, you read it right a skunk.
Let's back up a little bit to tell you were the obsession of a skunk came from. Rylee was learning about the letter "SK" in kindergarten, with that they were able to bring something that started with the letters "SK". We were at my Mom's and she told Rylee that my Dad had a pelt of a skunk, that she could borrow and take to school. So, my Dad went and got the pelt to show the girls...he brought this "REAL" pelt of a skunk and the girls freaked. It scared them to death, especially Joslyn...I might had it didn't help that my Dad was making the skunk dance around like it was real. Anyway, it took some convincing to show Joslyn it was real but was not alive..I had to show her that it was just the skin and fur of the skunk. Joslyn after realizing she was safe, she fell in love with this skunk. She would hold its little paws and dance around the house, she sang to it and loved it all day. It was to funny. She was so excited we got to take it home for a few days so Rylee could take it to school. So, the love of a skunk begin.
That is why she wanted a skunk. I have to admit I was a little worried that she would be disappointed that I gave her a stuffed animal skunk and not a pelt. I saw a few skunks dead on the side of the road and wondered if I had time to get them skinned (EWWWWW, not a chance).
So, as the days got closer to her birthday, I had searched the town of Ogden for a skunk and I had no luck. I mean really why would anyone want a skunk as a toy anyway. But, every time I continued to ask her what she wanted it was the same three things every time. It was the Saturday before he birthday and I had one more store that I was praying would have skunk. AND THEY DID, back behind a bunch of stuffed animals there was a little stuffed skunk. AND she loved it, she screamed and yelled, "MY SKUNK, MY SKUNK". It was all worth it. So, that is why the picture of her holding skunk is so precious.
Joslyn loving her stuffed skunk in her brand new tent that her Grandma got her for her birthday. PRICELESS!!!

Chariot Races
We had a fun Saturday afternoon at the Chariot Races. My Brother in law is huge into racing and training horses. So, we went and spent a fun day at the races with my sister and kids. The kids loved it. They would line up at one side of the bleachers and when they would say the horse were off, they would start running and racing each other...it was a very fun day!! The racing is amazing, I can't believe how fast the horses run with the Chariot behind them...amazing!! My Brother in laws, jockey/friend, Jess was there and Luke fell in love with him, he held him so, he could watch the race and gave him a ride around on his shoulders...it was really cute!! Here are pictures of the fun day!!
