A Dog and Turtle!!

Our neighbors were going out of town and asked Morgan if she could take care of their turtle. Needless to say our girls were ecstatic...our home without animals is driving them crazy. THEN our neighbors dog sitter cancelled so, we got the dog too. She is a cute little dog and SOOO well behaved, she fit right in. Luke and her seriously played outside from sun up till sun down. Throwing balls, exploring the yard together, it was awesome.
Joslyn LOVED Shelly the Turtle. I would find her playing with her toys by the cage, just talking away to her. We had let her swim in the bath 2 times that week. The kids had so much fun. Joslyn was the only one that would dare to pick her up and take her to the bath. Here are some pictures of our sitting experience.

Rylee wanted to dry the turtle, she did good till it started "CHARGING" her and she would run and scream.

Those of you that are screaming "GO GET YOUR KIDS SOME ANIMALS"......we will when we FINALLY own our own home and QUIT RENTING!!!! :0)

El Paso, TX

Boomer has been traveling A LOT lately, so we decided to go with him. He had to go down to El Paso, TX for 4 days. So, we packed up, took the girls out of school and met him down there. It was really fun, but exhausting. Boomer worked all day and the kids and I explored El Paso. We swam a lot, visited the zoo one day. We also went and visited a friend that I went to high school with, Erin (Rasmussen) Allen. It was so fun to spend the day with her and her cute kiddos. The kids played and played and we talked and talked. Boomer met us after work, we ate pizza and headed back to the hotel. Thanks, Erin for a fun day!!!

Here are pictures for the Zoo. It was a fun little zoo.

Driving to the zoo was kinda scary, you went right to go to the
zoo and left to go to Juarez, Mexico. So, we turned up the
GPS and made sure we went the right way. We didn't want to end up in Juarez with all the killing and crime that is going on there.

Luke didn't get many naps, he was exhausted. I laid him down
at night and he fell sound asleep. The TV was on, girls
jumping around the hotel
and he still PASSED OUT!!!

This was Jos's favorite spot at the hotel,
sitting in the window playing on the I-PAD!!

Grandma Medsker Visiting!!

My Mom was visiting for a little bit. It was soooooooo fun, we crafted, sewed, shopped and played with the kids. We were all in heaven having her here.
The morning before she left she wanted to get pictures of the kids. Morgan had already gone to school. So, we had a little photo shoot.

The crazy shirt Rylee is wearing is her P.E. shirt
she has to wear every Friday.

Luke wanted to join the fun.

We love Grandma!!
Thanks for all the fun!!
Thanks Dad for letting her come
for so long :0)

More Golfing.....

You know the one advantage of moving into a bigger place, we don't have the furniture to fill it up, yet. So, we split up our couches and put one in the family room and one in the living. Which makes for  A LOT of room to run around and GOLF.

What happens when you run out of golf balls.....
you just look under the couch!!

Here is another video of Luke golfing...

YEAH, Grandma's HERE!!!

My Mom came for a visit. It was so fun, we crafted, sewed, shopped, read books and...well cleaned house, took care of kids....the usual stuff. But, with Grandma here, it is all FUN!!!
The kids had Monday off of school, so we decided to go to the Aquarium/Botanical Gardens. We hadn't been there, so we were so excited to go.
It was amazing, it had an aquarium, a fairy tale garden, a farm, a greenhouse, a Japanese garden and sooooo much more.

The aquarium was really fun, they had this huge room that you could just sit and enjoy the sharks and fish. We spent a lot of time sitting on the floor watching them swim.

This is the Fairy Tale Garden. Everything was HUGE, the kids loved it.

This is a pumpkin..the inside of it was so fun. Seeds hanging from the ceiling.

The HUGE veggie garden...

The Green House. I can't wait to go in the summer when everything is green and blooming on the outside.

The Farm house and animals.

The Japanese Garden

It was such a fun day.

Me and my Sweetie!!

We had a DATE!!! My Mom came to visit, so Boomer and I went on a HOT date. It was so fun, we haven't done that since we moved. We went to a movie, then went to Starbucks and sipped hot chocolate. It was so nice to sit, talk and relax. Thanks Mom for the night off!!!

GOLF, GOLF, GOLF!!

The average day at our house. Boomer works from home, so when he needs to take a break he putts around the house. So, Luke follows his Daddy, putting around the room. They start with a pile of golf balls and hit them from one side of the room to the other.
I know this is going to back fire on us later, this kid has got a swing. (I hope the landlords don't read this post ;o) )!! No damages, just yet!!
Here is a video of what Luke does most the day.

The bottom left corner, is what happens when you start to tickle Mom, the kids took over and attacked Dad....

Here is the next Phil Mickelson.....

We went and saw Boomer at one of his Demo days at a local golf course the other day. For those who don't know what a Demo day is, it is when Boomer shows up with all of the different golf clubs that Callaway sells. He sets up a tent, and you can come and demo the clubs right there. After you can order the clubs or go to the club house and buy them.
When we showed up, Luke was in awe watching these men and woman hitting the clubs. He watched for a little bit, then went over to Boomer's car and got some balls out and went over to the clubs, grabbed a club and set up his balls on the driving range. This club was double his side, but he got a hold of a few balls. He was in heaven. It was so funny watching him drag around that club whacking the balls. He is hooked!!

Our Sweet Girls

I got some good shots of the girls....
They are growing up so fast!!

LUKE!!!!!!!!!!!

This is said "LLLLLLLUUUUUUUKKKKKKKEEEEEEEE", multiple times a day. Where is your brother? Get off that? How did you get up there? Why is there water all over the floors? Why did you finger paint on the mirror with lotion AGAIN???? What is all over your hair??? SERIOUSLY????

Luke is a climber, he can get on any surface of my house by HIMSELF. If he can't climb himself, he gets a chair, a stool whatever it takes, he will get up on top.

The other day, I needed to air out my kitchen (no, I didn't burn dinner, DAD) the flame went out in my burner and it smelled like gas. Anyway, I left one window crack (screen on) and another window that does not have a screen pushed open by my kitchen sink. Luke was happily eating, so I ran upstairs to put some towels away. I was gone less than a minute. I came downstairs to THIS............

He had climbed on the counter and climbed right out the window. Thank goodness there is a foot long shelf outside the window, other wise it is a 5 foot drop. I grabbed my camera (I know first things first)....I walked outside and he immediately was trying to change the subject of what he just did..."Mom, look birds, sky, FLOWERS..pretty". He didn't want to get down, he sat there with his feet hanging over the ledge sitting in heaven.
We now found the screen for the window and know not to leave them open without one. Silly me.

I Get To Love THIS BOY EVERYDAY!!!

Having a Boy is the funniest, craziest, on your toes ALL THE TIME experience. This little guy is the sweetest, most mischievous, lovable, cuddliest guy their is.
He is so use to me with a camera in my hands following him around to catch those candid moments that all mom's cherish or just shake their heads.

The weather as been so amazing, low 70's and SUNNY!! The kids have loved playing outside everyday. It even smells like spring, I love it!!!

Don't you just want to attack those cheeks!!!

He was sitting on this rock under a tree singing, "5 Little Monkey's Swinging From The Tree," just giggling, that is his favorite song right now.

Watching his crazy sisters.

This picture became black and white because the hat is pink. Joslyn got this hat for Christmas and LUKE loves it...he wears all the time.

Luke peeling himself an orange...perfect picture with
the gorgeous flowers in back.

My son LOVES playing in the sink, if it's the kitchen, the bathrooms....if there is a sink he is climbing on the counter and turning on the water and splashes about. He is good to always take his socks off, which makes all my counters with random socks all over.

Random pictures of Joslyn burying Luke...reading books with Grandma. The bottom picture is Boomer bugging me (I am on the bottom) all kids come to protect Mom.

There is always PLENTY of help around my house. When Mom cleans there is a line of sweet helping hands.
