Morgan's Last Party!!

Morgan and her friends went ice skating the night of the last day of school. It was such a cool place. It had some old houses that lined the skating rink. The pictures aren't the best, but the memory will last forever!!!

Rylee and Bekah!!

Rylee had a sweet friend Bekah..they were TWINS!! They both have the same SPUNKY personality!! It was so fun!! The last month we were in Albuquerque, they were fitting in all the play dates and sleep overs they could before we moved. They took turns sleeping at each others house. I loved when Bekah came over she had a book "The Super Sleepover". It was the cutest book, even had a check list that had to happen to make the evening PERFECT!!!

Another Fun Adventure!!

We have decided after many hours of talking and praying that we are going to move back to Utah! Boomer's job didn't work out the way we thought, it has been a crazy roller coaster. We had the opportunity to move back to Utah and move to my parents house while they are serving a mission for our church. It all fell in to place perfectly.
SO, MOVING AGAIN.....UGH!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO done packing. It was a very long month in May of packing and sorting, along with the kids end of school craziness. But, some how we got through it :0) It is just a NEVER ending battle to pack with kids around...glad it is over, well at least for another 14 months, when we move AGAIN!!!!
The boxes got piled high in the family room, that kept Joslyn and Luke busy most the day climbing and building forts.

Albuquerque was such an AMAZING place to live. We LOVED it, the city, the neighborhood and the people are UNFORGETTABLE. My sweet friends threw me a going away party before I left. It was so sweet and SOOOO emotional on my part. They all our so talented, amazing women. They are truly have a place in my heart. THANKS AGAIN for a wonderful afternoon!!!!

So many wonderful friends for my kids.

The amazing women of Albuquerque.

Joslyn's friends....

This is such a priceless picture...Joslyn with ALL OF HER PRINCESS FRIENDS!!

Yes, Luke was the EVIL MAN they put in to prison!!!

It was so sweet, my sweet friend Keri had everyone write cute messages on rocks. It was so sweet. I will cherish them always!!

LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!

BOXVILLE!!!!

SOOOOOOO MANY things going on at the end of the school year, from animals reports, making poodle skirts for choir and NOW making a "CRAFT BOUTIQUE" for Rylee's BOXVILLE. The kids are learning about the economics of business. So, the kids choose a business and we create that business out of a box. This Friday they will turn it in and will create a city in the gym. At that given business, if it is something that sells things or makes things that business needs to create that object for kids to buy (fake money). So, Rylee first choose WALMART...seriously!! I emailed the teacher to see if we could come up with something a little more creative. So, we came up with a CRAFT BOUTIQUE...so, the kids can come to Rylee's business and choose from 2 items to CRAFT. We have coloring pages or making a book mark (big Popsicle stick with foam sticker on the end).... Should be fun for the kids. I just can't wait to get this BOX out of my living room. She assigned it a month ago and we had done within a few days....it has been a LOVED box!!!

Yes, will someone PLEASE come and pull out that buck tooth that is sticking out of her mouth!!!! We are DONE with the DRAMA!!!! :0)

Here are some pictures of "BOXVILLE"

There were some very creative boxes...this was a theatre that the parents had brought in some TV's and played videos, while the kids ate popcorn.

Rylee selling...(it was PJ day at school)

Luke's favorite...STAR WARS!!!

Nature Center!!!

We made a list of things we wanted to do in Albuquerque. The Nature Center was one on the list. So, the kids and I went to check it out. There were fun trails that led to all different native planets to New Mexico. They had little name plates so we could read what they were.
I think the part we LOVED the most was the turtles. There were  a bunch of branches that were making a floating refuge for the turtles. There is a room inside the nature center that looked out over the turtles. We sat for 30 min watching the baby turtles going in and out of the water playing. SO, FUN!!!
The first pictures are some crazy looking fences..we didn't know what they were so, we just took a picture and hiked on. Morgan a month later came home from school so, excited she had just learned what those crazy looking fences are....back in the day 1930-1950's when the Rio Grande river was actually a BIG river then it is today. The settlers noticed that the river was overflowing so, they put the crazy fence things that are actually called, Jetty Jacks were placed in the water to slow the water flow. There were sooooooo many of them, it was crazy. They took them out of the river in 2002...now you know a fun New Mexico history ;0)

This was a cool little area showing us how they use to grow gardens. Dated back 4000 yrs, they said in China and India, they would bury clay pots up to the rim. Then they would poor water into the pots and the water would seep through the clay and water the plants. Great way to irrigate.

I don't know how appropriate this is, but, it is a KID thing that needed to be BLOGGED. Joslyn has learned her letters. We were walking by and saw this sign...yes, a basic "NO PARKING" sign, we see EVERYDAY!!! Joslyn started giggling her deep gut giggle.....I asked her what was so funny. She ran over and said, "YOU CAN'T PEE HERE"....seriously, I about died laughing. You will now never look at a "NO PARKING" sign the same again!!!

There is a nest with a Mama owl and 3 babies in it....you can't see them, but they are there :0)

SOLAR ECLIPSE!!!

We had such a FUN night watching the Eclipse. We went to a park, down the street from our house and laid on blankets right in the middle of the field. There were SOOOOOOO many people out in the neighborhood doing the same thing, it was really fun to have so many people out wearing funny looking glasses with us!!! The kids ran and played and got all their wiggles out. We got some pictures of the Eclipse and of the FUN night!!!

Our neighbors came down to watch the Eclipse with us, LUKE was in heaven. He ran, played and jumped on Malorie ALL night!!! She was amazing and WORE him OUT!! YAY!!!

Here are a few pictures before and after the Eclipse!!!
It was SOOOOOO AMAZING!!!

A BEAUTIFUL DAY WITH FRIENDS!!

Went to the zoo one afternoon for a picnic and fun with friends. Joslyn friend Matthew was able to get out of the hospital and had the OK to leave his house (to read more about Matthew click HERE). So, we all went to the zoo for a fun afternoon. We had a picnic, the kids had fun playing tag. Then spent a lot of time feeding the ducks. We went and watched the baby elephant for a long time playing with a big ole' tire. It was a fun day being with friends. We love you Matthew, we are praying for you all the time!!!
