LIFE!!!!

Life can get interesting sometimes. One day you are putting up your Christmas decoration, cleaning house and planning a two week vacation to Utah. Then in an instant, Boomer goes to work and his work is doing lay offs and he is one of them being laid off. Many emotions and decision are at our feet. So, a little over a week later we are taking Christmas down and packing a house and moving to Utah. It was so hard to leave our life in California. We will miss our amazing friends, the weather and of course living life on the beach. But, moving back to Utah, with family felt the best thing to do for our family.

Thanks to an amazing family and friends that dropped everything to come help pack up our house and move us back to Utah a week before Christmas..we couldn't have done it without you. My two sisters, Mom and our dear friends (Swains) were troopers...and Boomer's parents brought down the truck and trailer and we got it all done. Thank you, thank you!! We have had time to adjust, get the girls in school and on with life we go. Here are some pictures of our time in Utah so far.

Fun time in the snow at my Mom's, we even got to see deer in the mornings. So, fun!!

It snowed for two days straight. The kids just loved watching the snow fall. And loved watching Boomer plow the drive way.


Fun times sledding at Boomer's sisters place....she pulled the kids behind the 4 wheeler, the girls loved it.

The day after Christmas we went with Boomer's Mom to a huge tubing hill, it was soooo fun!! A tow rope towed you to the top of the run and then you tubed down the hill. It was absolutely beautiful. A little cold at first, when we pulled up it was a whopping 1 degree, by the time we left it was 15 degrees...CRAZY!!


We had a birthday party for Luke a few days after we got to Utah...we were driving to Utah the day of his birthday! Boomer's nephew and Luke share the same birthday, so we got together for cake and ice cream one night for the two of them. I can't believe my baby is 1 year old. AAHHHH!!!


On New Year's night we took the kids down to Salt Lake City to dinner and to walk around Temple Square and see the Christmas lights. It was so fun. We went to the place were Boomer proposed to me, the girls thought that was so cool...I tried to get him to kneel on one knee again...the picture of me and Boomer was were he proposed 15 years ago...WOW!!!
