Horsin' Around

We had SO much fun. Boomer's sister, Joan got their horses already for us to go up and ride. The kids had been wanting to do this forever. We had a great day riding horses, then cooling off at the beach, not the beach we are use to but, it was nice to have sand between our toes again!!!

I am still amazed the difference between boys and girls. My little guy is the messiest, daring little guy. He is so funny, such a tease! He had so much fun up on the farm..playing and rolling in the dirt. The excitement that there were balls, all over the arena to throw and play with...look below to see what the balls were............EEEEEWWWWWW!!!



So, if someone could please explain to my little guy, that this is horse poops, not balls, please do!! He was in heaven, balls EVERYWHERE!!!!



And yes, my daughter was yelling at me, "MOM, why are you taking pictures of horse poop"...she was a little embarrassed, I loved it!!!

Independence Day!!

We had such a fun day spending time with family and celebrating our freedom!! Thank you to all our military and their families for everything they sacrifice for us. You are in our prayers!!!



I love nieces that run after my kids. Luke had fun playing with his cousin Jade with the frisbee he caught.

My TWEENER!!!

Morgan just turned 11 years old...the one thing she made me promise not to say on her birthday was, "Oh, my baby is growing up", we all know what that means..."OH, my baby is growing up", with an attitude ;o)!!! She is such an amazing girl. She had her day all planned...lunch at Kirt's and then off to see Eclipse (she was so excited it opened on HER birthday), then swimming in her Grandparents pool. We had a fun day, she brought along her cousin Mollie. After dropping the little ones off at Grandma's (THANK YOU, MOM) we were able to have a day full of laughs and celebrating her.
To top it off, getting a picture with the one and only "Jacob", well a card board cut out, but still with "JACOB", who could ask for more!!!

FRECKLES THAT BUG US!!!!!

I was doing Joslyn's hair this morning as she was looking in the mirror we had this conversation:
Jos: "Mom what are those spot on my nose?"
Me: "Those are freckles"
Jos: But, I don't like freckles, why do I have freckles..
Me: Because they are cute on your little face
Jos: But, they are bugging me, I want them off, take them OFF"
Me: Go ask your Dad what he thinks
Jos: Daddy I don't like my freckles
Dad: But, they are so cute on you
Jos: But I want them off, PLEASE Dad take them off
Dad: I have freckles too

We continued to show her our freckles and Morgan's freckles...but she still didn't like hers....so the questions kept coming to other people:

Jos: I don't like my freckles
Nursery leader (church teacher): They are so cute on you (with a random look our way)
Jos: No, they are bugging me....

I am sure the saga will continue of why we have freckles that bug us!!! Funny girl!!

Smiles, Smiles, Smiles!!

When we get together with cousins, my kids are all smiles and giggles. They have so much fun together. Here are some fun pictures of some water fun, water slides, little pools with balls, sprinklers...fun all day!!




I love, love my Parents yard. My Mom puts together amazing flower beds. They also have an amazing garden. It is just fun to walk around and watch everything grow. It is beautiful. It is such a fun time of the year!!

The Start of Summer Fun!!!

We finally had a somewhat sunny day, so we could play outside. My Mom bought a huge pack of some plastic balls, so we put them in the little swimming pool and the kids played for hours. It was so fun watching them. Luke was in heaven surrounded by BALLS.



Then of course Rylee wanted to go running down the hill and jump in the pit of balls, it was so funny!! I got some great pictures of her flying in the air. Crazy Girl!!!
