HOLY MOLEY

First, I should explain my kids have been some what spoiled by growing up near or on the beach and living in apartments and not having to do much YARD WORK. We worked in the yard yesterday for a few hours raking leaves...the reason I am writing this post is because of the length of time it took us..for the reason of...."DID you know how many bugs are in the dirt", the excitement that came over my kids every time they would rake and find an insect. Jos (3 years) was so fun, I introduced her to the "Potato Bug" or "Rollie Pollie" BUT, Jos called them the "HOLY MOLEY'S"...she was screaming I want another HOLY MOLEY or HOLY MOLEY WHERE ARE YOU...it was so funny!! There where worms, lady bugs, beetle's, spiders the excitement!!! All Jos is talking about is, "when are we going to go RACK (that is how she says rake), some more HOLY MOLEY'S"......it is going to be a very exciting spring.

Gorgeous Spring Skiing

Boomer's brother, Tracy came into town for the day. So, Boomer, Tracy and his Mom enjoyed a gorgeous spring day and went skiing. It was a perfect day...

That Dang Leprechaun.......

Happy St. Patrick's day...we started out with green pancakes......


It was such a beautiful day, we went up to Grandma's house and played outside all afternoon and even got to help her plant some pea's. Jos loved planting the pea's especially when she found a worm, they were best friends from the start. She was just mad at us because when she asked, "If she could kiss the worm", and we told her no, she wondered why we don't kiss worms...GROSS!!!!The kids were in heaven. Luke is just learning to walk and loved exploring. He is not used to grass, we didn't have any in CA, he was just use to cement and the sand on the beach...so he loved picking the grass and throwing it, it was fun to watch him explore.


We walked around my Mom's gardens and found all the new little blossoms...on this little adventure Joslyn found tree bugs....another best friend.


BUT, when we got home that DANG Leprechaun had struck again...the basement was trashed. He left footprints and candy. He turned the girls beds upside down and threw all there blankets and stuffed animals everywhere....The girls where so mad, it was priceless. (Morgan would like everyone to know that she knew that he doesn't exist and she just played along for the little ones...) BUT, does he....MMMOOOWWWAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BABY GIRL, JOS!!

Jos turned 3....WOW!! Joslyn is such a sweet, funny little one. She loves to sing and talk. She also loves playing with her toys, she has such a fun imagination that keeps her busy for hours. I love to listen to her stories as she plays with random objects and makes a fun game out of it. She is very creative.



We are signed up on the Toys R Us birthday club. She received a coupon off any toy in the store. When you go to the store you are suppose to tell the front desk that you have a birthday girl. They were so cute, the man up front made such a big deal that it was her birthday. he gave her a crown and a birthday balloon. Then he said over the loud speaker, "Attention shoppers we have a special guest here to day, her name is Joslyn and she is going to be 3, if you see Joslyn shopping with us today make sure you say HAPPY BIRTHDAY." Joslyn's eyes got so big when she heard her name, it was so cute. There were many people that stopped us to tell her Happy Birthday, she felt very special. Then I let her go loose to pick out a toy...oh my goodness, an hour and a half hour later she made up her mind..."STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE:, it was a fun afternoon.


She wanted to make her own cake....we had a fun, very messy afternoon making the cake. It was so much fun watching her decorate it all by herself. She used Ding Dongs, Starbursts, M & M's...so yummy!!

Disney On Ice

We had such a great time going to "Disney On Ice"....the girls were in heaven. The evening started with the two little girls (Morgan is TO OLD to dress up) getting all dolled up for their big evening of Princesses. It was so cute!! We couldn't leave the house fast enough to get to the show. When we got there we found out we had a suite waiting for us...SWEEEEETTTTT!! That was sooo fun. The girls got to walk around and stretch there legs anytime they wanted...that is the way I would love to roll all the time ;o)
They anxiously waited for the show to start...so many memories. Here are pictures of the BEST evening!!!

FINALLY the moments was here...the show started the screaming begin...so fun!! I don't think Joslyn moved out of her chair the entire night, she was on the edge of her seat taking everything in.....

The funniest moment of the night was Joslyn wondering "WHAT HAPPENED TO TINKERBELL". In the scene of Tinkerbell the weeds came and fought with her and took her...that really, really, REALLY upset Joslyn. After the show she ASKED EVERYONE at least 5 times, "WHAT HAPPENED TO TINKERBELL", that was a very upsetting moment. She asked a few times on the way home and then the moment she woke up the next morning I got the question, "MOM, WHAT HAPPENED TO TINKERBELL"...I have come to find out there is NO right answer!!!

Family Ski Day

We got together with Boomer's family for a family picture and ski day!! It was so fun! The day was a little cooler and snowy, but we still had a blast!!
